The Stephanie Godri-Johnston Memorial Scholarship was created as a way to help a college-bound senior who has successfully balanced academics, athletics, additional extra-curricular activities, and volunteering during their time at Wyoming Area.

To qualify for the scholarship, the candidate must hold a cumulative 3.25 GPA and have a letter of acceptance from a 4 year college or university at the time of the application. Preference will be given to a student currently competing in either (or both) Cross CountryStephanie Track and/or Track & Field and has been doing so for at least the last two consecutive years. The candidate must also participate in some form of volunteer activity that benefits others and possess similar character qualities as those in Stephanie. In addition to the application, candidates must also complete an essay and take part in an interview with members of the selection committee.

The $3,000 scholarship will be awarded in two payments.  The first $1,500 will be awarded at graduation and the second $1,500 will be provided upon the selection committee receiving an official copy of the candidate's first full year's grades, which reflect a minimum 3.00 GPA.
